Tony Rocker was born in
Milwaukee, WI and now lives in Cottage Grove, WI. Tony has been an Elvis
fan all of his life, inspired by his mother’s love for the King. He has
been performing on a regular basis since the 1980’s playing and singing
in various bands that specialize in music from the ‘50s-‘70s. Tony
started out playing guitar and later switched to drums as well as lead
singer in several bands. He always sang Elvis songs with these bands,
and started performing as an Elvis Tribute Artist in the summer of 2002.
Tony performs as a solo Elvis Tribute Artist and does full production
shows backed up by his Elvis Tribute Band, "The Comeback Special". |
| Tony is an award winning
Elvis Tribute Artist who in August 2009 Won 1st Place in The Elvis
Extravaganza at the Wisconsin State Fair. Placed 3rd in the Ultilmate
Elvis Contest in Branson Missourri May 2008, January of 2004 won 3rd
place at the "Midwest Tribute to the King Contest" in Springfield, IL
and he took 3rd place at the Isle of Capri's "Tribute to a King" contest
in November 2005 in Bettendorf, IA. In January 2006 and 2007 he took 3rd
place at the Potowatomi Casino in Milwaukee’s semi-final, “Tribute to
the King” competition. Tony has also been a finalist in the Isle of
Capri Marquette contests in 2002, 2004 and 2005. In July 2008, Tony
placed 2nd at the Legends in Concert Ultimate Elvis Contest! Tony's shows are truly a tribute to the King, performed with respect, dedication, and admiration for the greatest rock and roll singer of all. Tony puts his heart and soul into every performance and always strives to do his best for every show. Tony truly enjoys performing and getting to know his fans, old friends and new, that come out to see his performances. We look forward to seeing you at an upcoming shows. |
