Hiya Nance and

Hi everyone,
I just wanted to send an email about Portage this year. I believe it was
my 5th year and let me tell you what a great time it was and how proud I
am to be involved especially since it's for the kids. I also got to meet
alot of new entertainers that I had never met before which is alot of
fun! Props to Kavan and Leo for donating their prize money back to the
kids - as that is what life is all about, being caring, generous and a
good person. Don't worry Steve, I know you re-donated the guitar but I
see acts of kindness in you all the time so I am just used to it:) As
usual cuz I am always so thankful to Mama Fox, Kathy (even though you
aren't giving me any friend love troll) and to Marie for allowing me to
be part of a group that is just wonderful to be around. To ugly Kay -
thank you for having me bust my toosh and my feet for a good cause. I
love being part of the show and hope that I will be for a long time! On
a serious note I would like to thank one more person fro!
m Portage. Russell Dennis - you did a fantastic job and also restored my
faith in capes, lol! I take my "job" very seriously in contests and want
to do my best for each entertainer and you were calming my nerves! Thank
you for practicing with me but also just wanting to have fun with
entertaining. I hope to put your cape on in the future!

Nance - I would
like to thank you for all the help you gave me at Portage again this
year. Thanks to Marie, Mary and Sean. I couldn't do it without all of
you. To the ETA's, thank you so much for making this year a success.
Congratulations to the winners: Leo Days, Jimmy King Kai, Kavan and
People's Choice Ed "the Monkey Man" Parzygnat. This years Junior
Division, Demi Downing, Jimmy Holmes, and Nick Gutierrez for keeping the
memories alive for the generation. The judges, as usual, you did a great
job. Hat's off to all of you. Also, thanks to the fans. We always have
the greatest fans in the world in attendance. To Lori and the Special
Olympians you make the weekend a joy. The parents and the kitchen staff
out did yourself this year. We all enjoyed the food, especially the
homemade pies, cookies and brownies.
And last, but not least, thank you Charley for giving me the chance to
do what I love to do. I'm so lucky to have you as a friend and my
husband.
See you all next year. Mark your calendars, October 12th,13th and 14th,
2007. Oh and don't forget the cruise in January with Dwight, Irv,
